Autumn colors, mountain scenes, historic towns, the Thorp Mill, and the twisting Yakima River are all part of the experience.
This challenging 104-kilometer ride travels through some of Central Washington's most scenic cycling country. The terrain is gently rolling except for one breath-taking 400-foot hill climb.
This years event consists of a four-part progressive rides through some of Kittitas Counties most scenic cycling country returning to Ellensburg.
- True Century 161km/100 miles to the Suncadia Resort
- Metric Century 104 km/ 62 mile to Pioneer Coffee Cle Elum
- Half Century 54 km/33 miles to Thorpe
- Quarter Century 17km/11 miles
The terrain is gently rolling except for one breath-taking 400-foot climb in the Metric and Century rides.
Souvenir T-Shirts available for purchase for $15.00. The T-Shirts are 100% cotton, orange in color, and long-sleeve. Order by September 1st for guaranteed delivery on day of ride. We will have extra available for purchase the day of the ride, but we expect the extras to go fast.
Registration and rider check-in runs from 7:30-9:00 AM at Memorial Park on 7th and Chestnut (driving directions to start/finish). All riders should be on the course no later than 9:00 AM. A route map and are provided; in addition, the course is marked with Dan Henry arrows.
Snacks, fruit, liquids, and a sag wagon will be provided.
October is usually sunny and pleasant in the Kittitas Valley. Poor weather, however, is always a possibility so bring warm-ups, windbreakers, etc.
